Mid November, 2005, brought excitement to the North Georgia woods... This 18 1/4" wide, 165 pound 8 pointer was slipping around about half way up the mountain... I had already taken a nice little 5 pointer a little over a week earlier... Both were taken with one of our Encore .50 caliber muzzleloaders... within 40 yards... almost at dark...
...Dad bagged a doe shortly afterwards from the ground blind... Both of us hunted from folding chairs this year...
...I use a Lakota TCP32 digital trail camera... It's been an excellent performer...
...If I can keep it out of a bear's reach, I expect it to last a long time... Anthony has already repaired it for me once because of this bear...
