…"Fried White Bread"…
Necessary ingredients...
Two slices of white bread...
Skillet...
Pepper grinder...
Mustard seed grinder...
Pam cooking spray...
Flipper...
Spray the skillet with cooking spray...
Grind peppercorns and mustard seeds in the center of the pan in the area to be occupied... the size of a single slice of bread...
When the pepper and mustard start to cook, the flakes will visibly bubble...
Drop the two slices of white bread into the pan, one on top of the other... just like a sandwich...
While it is frying, lightly spray the top of the top slice... then grind pepper and mustard on the top...
When the bottom slice has started to turn brown... flip the two slices...
Fry the second side till satisfied...
Flip again till you're happy... or remove to a plate...
This gives you two slices of white bread, nicely fried and flavored on the outsides... and soft as a cotton ball and moist on the inside!
Put anything you want inside... Cause everything's better on fried white bread!
"Richard's Favorite Fried White Bread Sandwich"
On the day after you had a whole Boston Butt in the smoker for 7 hours... chopped it and put in the fridge over night...
Throw a big handful of dry BBQ in a hot skillet along with a spoonful of honey butter you had left over from said BBQing...
When it's as warm as you like and nicely coated with the butter and honey... open your fried white bread and pile on the pork...
Add a little sauce if you like... or leave it alone...
Put the meat back in the fridge... but don't move the skillet... You'll probably need it again...
Close your fried white bread sandwich and sneak off to enjoy it by yourself...
