...Dang Holt Creek Bear chewed up my Trail Cam...
...Most everybody knows that I look at things a little differently than most... Out of this series of pictures, the first one is my favorite... His breath was fogging up the camera lens...
...The bear first came upon the camera setup on November 1st a little after 6 pm... and came back for another round the next morning at 4:45 am... In between it took pictures of deer... The LakotaCam took a hit, but is still working...

...A little better face shot... The camera was mounted 6' off the ground...
...Most of the damage to the camera box was from chewing, but there are a few claw marks...
...Since there were no pictures of a bear out in front of the camera... It's difficult to know if there was more than one... This picture could be one bear on the right snapping at another bear on the left... The picture at the top of the page shows a brown muzzle and this bear's muzzle is mostly black...
I have a steel bear guard, but chose not to carry it on the climb to the camera setup... Bad decision...
